Roads, Networks and Connections…
The invention of modern tourism is part of the evolution of European societies from the 17th century and driven by the development of rail transport in the 19th century as well as the invention of paid leave. Initiated by the United Kingdom with their Grand Tour but also with their concept of "station", the traveler evolves and diversifies from the rite of passage (pilgrimages and journeys), to commercial exchange up to work on the imaginary.
This exhibition aims to highlight and resonate with these stories that we analyze within our research and creation programs. Always with the same motivation to create a shared sensitive and aesthetic experience, it will therefore be a question of energizing a space-time conducive to meeting and exchanging with our audiences. Limited editions will also be acquired for the occasion: poetic objects, authentic traces of the memory of this cultural encounter caused by the grand tour of evening visitors to the Botox(s) network and European Heritage Days.
