La Navette: a 100% electric shuttle allowing you to move around Menton

Since 14th November 2019, the French Riviera Community and the Zestbus network launched La Navette, a silent and non-emitting CO2 vehicle, this 100% electric shuttle helps you access the Menton city center. It can travel up to 200 km without charging and has about 20 seats. It can take you every day from the train station to the local market “Les Halles” via the Bioves Gardens, the seaside and the Jean Cocteau Museum called “Bastion”. This green shuttle runs every 20 minutes from 9am to 6pm and it is 100% free.


Menton, Riviera, & Merveilles have several SNCF stations regularly served by TER, TGV and LGV trains.
Those stations permit you to access different parts of this region.

Tourist trains

Several tourist trains have been set up to help you discover the region:

  • During the summer season, you can take the Train des Merveilles from Nice to the Roya Valley.
  • In the winter, the Train des Neiges starts from Nice and takes you all the way to the Casterino station.

In Menton, the tourist mini train runs regularly to let you discover all the hidden parts of the city.
